Pembentukan Grup Band Hey! Say! Jump telah diumumkan pada tanggal 24 September 2007 pada saat konser The Johnny's Jr Hey Say 07 di Yokohama, yg di on air-kan (di siarkan) langsung oleh Fuji TV.

Minna-san taw gag...Kenapa mereka dinamain Hey! Say! JUMP???
Mereka di namain ke' gitu coz... mereka semua lahir di tahun Heisei (1990-sekarang) dan JUMP-nya itu sendiri singkatan dari Johnny's Ultra Music Power....
